The Acuvue Oasys lens is one of the most popular contact lens choices for many reasons- but the most important reason is because patients find it to be extremely comfortable! 

The material this contact lens is made out of allows 98% of available oxygen to reach the cornea (top layer of your eye), and this amazing material also has excellent "wetting agent retention." Basically, this means that your eyes are allowed to "breathe" and retain moisture, so your contacts are comfortable all day long!

Acuvue Oasys contacts are especially helpful to people who work in dusty, windy, dry, or hot environments (just about everywhere in Nevada, for instance!). They also offer the highest level of UV protection in a contact lens (but you should definitely still wear sunglasses outside to protect the rest of your eyes and the delicate skin surrounding them).
